INIKA – Going Vegan

In the last couple of months I was really excited to be introduced to INIKA Cosmetics. To be honest, I had only heard of them in passing while visiting a skin specialist. It wasn’t until I tried their products that I found out what all the hype was about.

INIKA is a premium 100% natural cosmetic brand that gives women (and a few self-assured men) the power to truly express who they are.

INIKA cosmetics are Certified Vegan, or Certified Organic or both, and are also Certified Cruelty Free and Certified Halal. This gave me complete confidence in knowing that the stuff I was wearing, I could basically eat, and it wouldn’t damage my skin. Not to mention, I felt much better knowing that it wasn’t tested on animals.

All of the products are fashion forward, and really stays with up to day with modern make-up trends. And clearly being all natural ingredients really does make a difference, as I feel like all of the INIKA products give me a fresh and full coverage without the cakeyness that usually comes with it.

One of the things that really made me a genuine convert was their primer. After many unsuccessful Primer trials with many different brands (even the critically acclaimed ones) I felt like Primer did nothing for me. No matter what my pores were still huge and my make-up FELL off my face, requiring many re-applications during the day.

So I gave up on Primers. I just used moisturiser. That seemed to do a better job than most of the products I tried.

As soon as I used the INIKA primer, I was sold. It was lightweight, easy to apply and most importantly, my make-up lasts FOREVER in immaculate condition.  I actually couldn’t believe it. So I have stocked up on the product ever since. The bottle itself costs $60, but contains a lot of liquid that will last a considerable amount of time, as you only need a small amount when you apply.

My favourite products

INIKA has now become a part of my daily make-up routine, and I haven’t found an aspect I don’t like about the brand.

Basically, I say you need to try this stuff.

You can buy their range of cosmetics on their website.
