Spring Racing Carnival: Caulfield Cup

What a way to end the week at Caulfield Racecourse! Yesterday, M&G attended the Caulfield Cup and despite weather warnings it was all sunshine. The champagne flowed, the canapés made the rounds and the races were exciting as ever.

The Melbourne and Georgette team was lucky enough to call the Pegasus Marquee home for the day, all thanks to Pommery and Haystac Communications. The main room of the Marquee was filled with lavish couches where we could rest our feet and outside, a gorgeous deck allowed us to enjoy the sun, taking photos in front of the Pommery flower wall.

And what a day it was!

Caulfield Cup is usually the laid back race day – a pre party for the extravagance of Flemington. This year, it was not the case. We saw beautiful outfits, imaginative Millinery and shoes that could kill.

We were lucky enough to be working exclusively with Morgan and Taylor for Millinery on Cup day. I was wearing their Payton piece, and I have to say it is probably my favourite Millinery I have ever worn!

You can purchase the “Peyton” here.

I teamed it up with a new Saba top, available in stores now, and a Nicholas skirt. Finally the outfit was finished with my favourite Louis Vuitton clutch.

The David Jones Marquee was the place to be seen on Cup with the likes of Jacinta Campbell, Rebecca Judd and Olympia Valance in attendance.

We were really blown away by the effort that everyone went into their outfits and we really can’t wait for the next stage of the Spring Racing Carnival. Until then, here is a look and some of our favourites from the cup:

Montana Cox wearing Zimmerman – a gorgeous Spring number
