Designer: Why Buy When You Can Rent?

I’m not going to lie, working in the fashion industry is hard. It could even be said that even wanting to be on trend is hard. And I’m talking about hard on your wallet. These days any event whether it be fashion week, a cocktail party or a romantic date requires the “D” – Designer. Whether it be a clutch, a bag, shoes or jewellery we want the glamorous and stylish life.

But how on earth do we afford such luxurious goods? I don’t know about you but working part time, partying part time and study adds up to a very empty bank account. And it’s safe to say I do need to spend my savings on lattes and doughnuts.

My first designer bag is still my baby as I saved for years to  be able to afford it. And unless I win the lottery, or get myself a Sugar Daddy (Based on my recent dating history thats less likely than the lottery) then I’m not going to be able to purchase bag, after bag, after bag.

Thankfully there is a god, and it comes in the form of The Style Secret Designer Hire. Yes ladies, it does exist outside of Sex and the City movies and its just as good as it sounds. They ensure you are always up to date with the latest high end trends without the huge expense.

I came across this Online only  beauty while Instagram rolling and I have never looked back. I can adopt a new precious Designer clutch, bag, shoes or jewellery for truly incredible prices! And yes it gets better, they also have sales on their rent prices. You can hire for a weekend   (Friday to Monday) of for a one week hire of seven days.

I was lucky enough to be able to test out two beauties myself last week and I can’t wait to use this service in the future. I received a brilliant YSL clutch in electric blue and a rock stud cream and black Valentino.

Thanks to my brilliant photographer I was able to get some amazing editorial shots to share with you.
